The Golf Dome’s NOPGA professionals are gearing up for the 5th Annual Smucker’s Birdies & Charity on September 16th at Portage Country Club.
The team will make as many birdies as possible to raise money for the initiatives of the Northern Ohio PGA Section Foundation. These include supplying sets of golf clubs to juniors with financial need through its Clubs Fore Kids program, providing scholarships to high school seniors trying to attain higher education, and assisting PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere) programs which are 6-8 week free instructional programs taught by PGA Professionals for Veterans and Active Duty Military. In addition, the day raises money for six other Northern Ohio charities.
